<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cheaply provide: a remote monitoring system easily maintaining excellent communication quality even when circuit loss fluctuates; and a data transmission level adjustment method for a remote monitoring terminal device in such remote monitoring system. <P>SOLUTION: A remote monitoring terminal device 2 connected to an elevator 1 is made to perform automatic adjustment so that a data transmission level in transmitting data to a public circuit network 4 is set to a value having margins on the both high and low level sides within a communication stable transmission level range in which communication with a monitoring center 5 can be performed stably. In the automatic adjustment, the remote monitoring terminal device 2 changes the data transmission level within the settable range, and at all such times performs communication with the monitoring center 5 a plurality of times to count the number of times of communication success; and detects the communication stable transmission level range based on this number of times of communication success. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
