<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus having a detachable handle part which is small-sized and easily handled and removed inducing no breakage of electrical contact. <P>SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus having a detachable body part and handle part, a handle side connector 130 electrically connecting the handle part to the body part is fixed to a connector fixing sheet metal 121 via an elastic member, and the handle side connector 130 is connected to a body side connector 150 of the body part by fixing the connector fixing sheet metal 121 to a body side fixing part 151 of the body part via handle rear fixing members 120.
