<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which supports individually matched and well balanced makeup while reducing man-hour for correction. <P>SOLUTION: A video image including a face of a person is captured, a plurality of partial regions are extracted from the captured video image, respective evaluation values of the plurality of extracted partial regions are calculated, and the plurality of evaluation values are compared with each other to calculate a balance correction value.
