<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable winning device for a game machine, which is able to compactly incorporate a configuration for preventing fraudulence to a rotary vane and a configuration for preventing fraudulence to a transmission member, and to provide a game machine equipped with the variable winning device. <P>SOLUTION: A cover body 80 and an illumination board 90 are sandwiched between the rear end surfaces of the upright walls 18 of a base plate 10 and the front end surface of the middle wall 64 of a base body 60. The mounting part 16 of the base plate is screwed onto the mounting part 66c of the base body 60. A guide groove 17a2, guide projection 57, support shaft part 65c, and bearing part 53 are covered from outside by the cover body 80 contact from outside is prevented. The upright walls 18 are provided in three places: the bottom, right and left sides of the base plates 10. A light emission substrate 90 is interposed the rear end face of each of the upright walls 18 and the front end face of the cover body 80.
