<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber membrane module constituted so that a potting part and a module case or hollow fiber membranes are adhered and fixed in a highly liquidtight or airtight state without damaging the characteristics of the hollow fiber membranes and excellent in characteristics such as mechanical strength, low elution properties, etc. <P>SOLUTION: In the hollow fiber membrane module wherein the hollow fiber membranes are fixed and sealed using a polyolefinic resin, the sealed part of the module or the module case is made of a polyolefinic resin with an Mn of 2,000 or above and an Mw/Mn ratio of 3 or below. The manufacturing method of the hollow fiber membrane module is characterized in that the molding temperature of the sealed part satisfies the following relational expression: softening temperature of hollow fiber membrane>molding temperature≥softening point of case member>melting point of material used in sealed part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
