The invention relates to a ball-valve ball with two L-shaped bores situated in one plane, one of which (the main bore) has a cross-section corresponding to the cross-section of three connections, with free inlets on the ball circumference, and the inlets of the second L-shaped bore (auxiliary bore) are restricted by respective pivoted-flap sealing plates, such that when the inlet of the auxiliary bore rests against the fourth connection, which has a reduced cross-section relative to the other three connections of the four-way ball valve, this connection can be sealed by the sealing plate, and when an inlet of the auxiliary bore rests against one of the other three connections, this connection is reduced slightly in cross-section only by the rotary sealing plate pivoted outwards out of the ball, beyond the ball surface, and communicates with the auxiliary bore. <IMAGE>
