<p>A multi-purpose oscillating sifter for sifting granular materials to fine particles including sand, magnetite ore, animal feed materials, rice, ground condiments and the like composed of an oscillating sieve with mesh of different diameters of choice connected to a frame that oscillates resulting from the output motion of a crank and roller as driving mechanism. The oscillating sifter is tilted in a certain degree to facilitate sifting action as the oscillating motion and gravitational force separates the fine particles to remove the tailings and coarse materials, as the feed material moves longitudinally, along the length of the screen. A hopper spreader directs the flow of the feed materials and spread the same laterally on both sides of the oscillating sieve bed increasing the sieve area which translates to a bigger sieving exposure. By means of gravity, the sifted material goes thm a chute channel and ends up on a container bed placed at the bottom portion of the sieve while the tailings and coarse materials which are separated from the fine particles goes thm a chute channel for tailings.</p> |
