<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope able to securely perform a function setting even if an intentional operation is performed by a user. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscope comprises: a first joy stick configured to determine or end a function setting on the basis of a pressing time; a display control part configured to display on a display part a menu screen G2 for displaying a main menu, a set up menu screen for selecting a set up menu for setting up an endoscope system, and a selection screen G5 for selecting a function setting for the set up menu selected on the set up menu screen; and a function setting determination part configured to determine a function setting selected on the selection screen G5, regardless of the pressing time of the first joy stick. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
