<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent uneven density of an output image by stably cooling a platen roller which receives heat from a thermal head during operation of a thermal transfer printer. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal transfer printer 1 comprises a thermal head 21 which transfers an image from an ink sheet 3 to a recording paper 4 by heating the ink sheet 3 holding an ink, and a platen roller 22 which rotates while holding the recording paper 4 between the thermal head 21 and the platen roller 22. The thermal transfer printer 1 further comprises a heat radiation plate 41 which is in contact with the peripheral surface of the platen roller 22 and moves in accordance with rotation of the platen roller 22, and a main support roller 42 which abuts against the heat radiation plate 41 and supports the heat radiation plate 41 by pressing it against the platen roller 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
