The device consists of a flat metal wt. element which rests on the top of the mould, and a clamping plate on either side of the mould. The base of the mould rests on a transport system. At least one L-shaped arm is connected by pivoting joints between the weight element and each of the side plates. Pairs of opposing arms are applied to the side plates in the same vertical plane passing through the mould, but are offset near the wt. element so that they can overlap, and are attached to the wt. element at points on the other side of the axis of the mould, in the direction of motion of the transport system, from the side plates to which they belong. The transport element has lateral projections, which may be withdrawable, and which support the side plates when no mould is present. The force exerted by the side plates may be varied by attaching extra metal wts. to them.
