The present invention relates to an electrode assembly, which comprises a first electrode stacked body having at least one electrode unit with a first area stacked, and a second electrode stacked body having at least one electrode unit with a second area different from the first area stacked, and includes a step part formed by the area difference of the first and second electrode stacked bodies, wherein the first and second electrode stacked bodies are stacked in the perpendicular direction to a plane. The present invention relates to an electrode assembly and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the electrode assembly has the step part on at least one side among four sides of the electrode assembly, at least one tape taped to cross the stacked side on at least one step part, and the tape has a step form of the step part. According to the present invention, an amorphous electrode assembly having a step can stably maintain the shape and the stacked form of a battery. |
