<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which hardly causes blocking even after the toner is left to stand for a long period of time under high temperature and high humidity conditions and which hardly causes decrease in density even in imaging under high temperature and high humidity conditions, even when the toner uses a modified wax for a binder resin essentially comprising a polyester resin component. <P>SOLUTION: The toner comprises at least a binder resin, a colorant and a wax component (A). The wax component (A) is a wax component having at least one kind of functional group selected from an ester group, a carboxyl group and a hydroxyl group. The binder resin is obtained by polymerizing a polyester resin component as a main component in the presence of the wax component (A), and is prepared through steps of, after the polymerization, cooling and solidifying the obtained material, melting and kneading the solidified product, introducing the kneaded material in a melted state into a thin film evaporating machine, and removing a volatile component by distillation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
