<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leg body for furniture which firmly connects the upper end of a front leg to a rear leg by simplifying the structures of the front leg and the rear leg. <P>SOLUTION: An enlarged width part 6a is formed at the upper end of the front leg 6 in a way that it is made wider than a lower part and is allowed to come into surface contact with an outer side part of the rear leg 5 by horizontally compressing the upper end so as to be plastically deformed. The enlarged width part 6a is connected to the outer side part of a vertically middle part in the rear leg 5.
