A wire saw device is described. The wire saw device includes a cutting head having a frame body and at least four openings configured for receiving a set of wire guide cylinders, at least four bearing box sleeves, and a temperature control shield arrangement having one or more temperature control shields, wherein the frame body is made of mineral casting and is combined with the at least four bearing box sleeves and the one or more temperature control shields, wherein each one of the at least for bearing box sleeves is provided in a respective one of the at least four openings.
