<p>Disclosed are a label separating apparatus and a label separating method which have a structure which is improved to automatically separate a label from a tape. The label separating apparatus may include: a first separating device which is inserted into a space between release paper and a label which are combined with each other; a second separating device which vacuums the label which is separated by the first separating device; a first drive device which is combined with the first separating device so that the first separating device moves from side to side toward the label and the release paper; and a second drive device which is combined with the second separating device so that the second separating device moves up and down.</p>
