<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrule dismounting jig for an optical connector capable of largely improving workability when dismounting a ferrule from the optical connector having a dismountable ferrule. <P>SOLUTION: The ferrule dismounting jig for an optical connector used for dismounting a ferrule from the optical connector has a connector receiving section into which the optical connector can be inserted. The connector receiving section comprises: a seat arranged so that, when the optical connector is inserted, a front end of a slider comes into contact with a circumferential edge of an opening end of the connector receiving section; and a pair of pins disposed opposing to each other on the seat being interposed by the connector receiving section and arranged so that, when the front end of the slider comes into contact with the circumferential edge of the opening end, the pair of pins moves in an axial direction and is inserted into a through hole of the slider to disengage the engagement between a housing and a stopper in the optical connector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
