<p>The present invention relates to a switched mode power supply apparatus applied with a power factor correction circuit and a mobile communication repeater system using the same. In particular, it is possible to promote energy saving by applying switched mode power supply (SMPS) applied with the power factor correction (PFC) circuit to the mobile communication repeater system to decrease apparent power. Therefore, distortion of an input current waveform can be minimized by the PFC to secure a high power factor in a wide output range by mounting the PFC circuit in the SMPS to reduce the reactive power of a load, and the variation of the power factor can be minimized depending on the output variation of the SMPS. In addition, it is possible to reduce noise generated from the SMPS which is mounted with the PFC circuit and EMI to be output to an AC input end by providing EMI filtering techniques capable of ensuring the high power factor in the wide output range in order to minimize the distortion of the input current waveform generated by a condenser.</p> |
