<p>Disclosed are a mobile communications system based on a software-defined network and a method of the same for processing the connection of user equipment. According to the present invention, the mobile communications system includes: a mobility management entity (MME) to receive a connection request message from user equipment; a software-defined network (SDN) controller to generate a flow table about a message moving path and determine a policy on the assignment of IP addresses to user equipment, if the connection request message is received from the MME; and a packet gateway (P-GW) to assign an IP address to the user equipment based on the policy, if a session request message is received from the MME. The MME and the P-GW are connected through an open interface. The MME can transmit the session request message to the P-GW based on the flow table generated by the SDN controller.</p> |
