<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping device adapted to avoid occurrence of variation in damping characteristics and a characteristic of dynamic spring constant. <P>SOLUTION: The vibration damping device 1 includes a hold plate 3 fixed to a lock-up piston 2 of a torque converter 100; a driven plate 4; and an outer-diameter-side spring 5 and an inner-diameter-side spring 6 which couple the hold plate 3 and the driven plate 4 elastically in a rotational direction; in which the hold plate 3 has a supporting hole 36 for supporting both ends of the inner-diameter-side spring 6 and a regulating member 37 and a regulating member 38 which are provided on the inner diameter side of the supporting hole 36 to regulate movements of the inner-diameter-side spring 6 to the inner diameter side and the outer diameter side, with a butting position, where the inner-diameter-side spring 6 butts against the regulating member 38 when the inner-diameter-side spring moves to the outer diameter side, positioned on a line segment L which passes approximately through the approximate center X2 of a cross-section of the inner-diameter-side spring 6 and intersects orthogonally with the power transmission shaft X. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
