<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel filling method capable of reducing filling time for a plurality of fuel tanks with a simple structure, and to provide a fuel tank electric component. <P>SOLUTION: A shutoff liquid surface level for shutting off piping for excessive filling prevention and an advance-notice liquid surface level lower than the shutoff liquid surface level are previously set in each of a plurality of fuel tanks 2.
