The cover has a sealing element (22) made of resilient material and sealing the cover at a connecting piece-shaped region of a plastic exhaust tube. A cover part (11) supports the sealing element and axially inserted into a control aperture of the connecting piece-shaped region such that outer diameter of the sealing element corresponds to internal diameter of the region. Another cover part (12) comprises a unit for forming a connection with the region. The parts are rotatably arranged together around a longitudinal axis (14). An independent claim is also included for a system for closing a control aperture at a plastic exhaust tube.
