<p>An irritant delivery device comprises a window breaker 10 having a handle 22 and a breaker head 18 adapted for breaking a window. A discharge port 24 for discharging irritant, such as CS powder is formed on or adjacent the breaker head. A pressure vessel 12 receives pressurised gas containing or forming the irritant. A gas release device 14 is provided which is actuatable by a user to cause the pressure vessel 12 to be discharged through the discharge port 24. In use, the breaker head 18 can be impacted against a window e.g. of a motor vehicle so that the discharge port 24 can be introduced through the broken window and irritant delivered into the space beyond the window.</p> |
