<p>An internally-ventilated isothermal stained-glass panel support assembly supports an internal stained-glass panel 316 which is spatially separated from an external protective glazing 306, the assembly comprising a stained-glass panel support member or saddle bar 304; first and second bars, preferably mounting bars 314 attached to the support member; and fixtures, preferably a bracket 318, mountable on an internal reveal and/or sill of the window frame for receiving the bar. Each bar 314 and respective fixture 318 are configured to be slideably engagable with each other to allow adjustment of the spacing between the stained-glass panel and the external protective glazing. Lead flaps 324 may be used to shield against sunlight. In use, air flows through the space between the external protective glazing and the stained-glass panel, this prevents the buildup of condensation on the stained glass and fluctuations in outside temperature.</p> |
