<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recorder for allowing an information recording unit to be easily attached into/detached from a casing that comprises a device outer case. <P>SOLUTION: When detachably/attachably installing an information recording unit to a casing incorporating a card storage part and an information recording part from outside, the casing is provided with a unit insertion opening and a guide rail for guiding the recording unit to the information recording part through the opening. An insertion posture when the recording unit is inserted in the unit insertion opening and an installation posture when installed to the information recording part are differed so as to make the unit insertion opening smaller than an installation area of the recording unit.
