<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder moving device capable of moving powder which is non-moving to a surface moving member electrostatically, to the surface moving member, suppressing abrasion of a powder carrier and the surface moving member, and suppressing enlargement of the device; and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: When a residual transfer toner T on a photosensitive drum 1 is conveyed to a cleaning nip, the negative-polarity toner on the photosensitive drum is electrostatically moved to an EA belt 91 and removed from the photosensitive drum 1. Furthermore, the influence of a cleaning electric field develops electro-adhesion effect to increase the adhesion of the surface of the EA belt. Thereby, the positive-polarity toner, paper powder, and toner additives such as silica fallen from the toner on the photosensitive drum are stuck to the EA belt 91 to be removed from the photosensitive drum 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
