Compressible container with one or more collapsible sides, each comprising two side halves 1 and 2, and 3 and 4, the outer surfaces of which are provided with adhesive or corresponding means of holding them together, when the collapsible sides, on compression of the container, are folded inwards into this and the side halves, or parts of the latter, are thereby compressed, as the contents are expelled. The invention has applications particularly as packaging for thick, viscous milk products and for products with a solid particle content such as salads, jams and the like, where a complete and controlled emptying of the contents is desired, and where it is desirable that the container take up as little space as possible when it is empty and is to be discarded. <IMAGE>
