The invention relates to a device for fixing a motor vehicle rear bench seat (1) to a floor (2) of the motor vehicle, comprising at least one bench seat anchor member (3) mounted secured to the floor (2), comprising a metal wire (31) resting between first and second attachment points situated one on either side of a cavity (32) formed in the floor and having a substantially central loading zone (311) intended to collaborate with a catching member (13) borne by a mounting plate (11) fixed on a cross member (12) arranged behind the bench seat in the lower part thereof. The anchor member (3) comprises a connecting piece (4) connecting the metal wire (31) to the cavity (32) in such a way as to oppose any deformation of the metal wire (31) when the metal wire (31) is loaded on its central loading zone (311) by the bench seat attachment member (13). |
