<p>This dynamic image predictive encoding device is provided with: an input means for inputting multiple images that constitute a dynamic image; an encoding means for encoding images through intra prediction or inter prediction to generate compressed image data constituting a random access point, and for encoding information relating to picture type and an order of output for each image; a decompressing means for decoding of the compressed image data and decompression thereof into regenerated images; an image storage means for storing one or more of the regenerated images, as a reference image for use in encoding of a subsequent image; and a control means for determining the picture type, and controlling the image storage means on the basis of the result of the determination. The control means labels each image as being one of a total of three types, a CRA picture, a type 1 picture, or a type 2 picture.</p> |
