<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for matching front and back image qualities to each other without using a test chart with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: This image processor includes: an image reading part including a first reading part and a second reading part and capable of reading both surfaces of a document at the same time; a document type detection part for detecting whether the document is single-sided or double-sided; a document transport path changeover part for changing over the transport path of the document; a document transport roller rotation changeover part for changing over the rotating direction of the document transport roller; and an image correction part for correcting an image in the first or second reading part based on image characteristics of images read by the first and second reading parts. The first and second reading parts are arranged around the document transport path such that, by the changeover of the document transport path and the changeover of the rotating direction of the document transport roller, the front surface of the document and the back surface thereof are read by the first reading part and the second reading part, respectively, when the document is double-sided; and, when the document is single-sided, the front surface of the document is read by the first reading part, and the front surface of the document is read by the second reading part as well. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
