PURPOSE:To enable the automatic forming of tread in a manner that both ends are put into a close contact with each other and both ends are joined only by pressing the drum surface to belt-like rubber by cutting continuous belt-like rubber at two parts being separated slightly to the front and rear, and by making smaller the slant angle of a front side section with respect to the longitudinal direction than the slant angle of a rear side section. CONSTITUTION:A second conveyer 3 comprising a first conveyer 2 and an endless belt is arranged in a series toward a forming drum 1. Between the first conveyer 2 and second conveyer 3, a cutting table 10 is interposed to be equal in their superficial height and a cutting blade 23 is provided on the up side of the cutting table 10. By the first conveyer 2 and second conveyer 3, belt-like rubber T for tread is forwarded and is cut at two parts into a predetermined length by means of the cutting blade 23. At this time, cutting is effected such that the slant angle of the front side section with respect to the longitudinal direction is smaller than the slant angle of the rear side section. As a result, both sections come into close contact with each other. |
