PURPOSE:To obtain a photograph with less divergence of focus by calculating an object range and controlling to focus based on range information obtained finally in plural range information. CONSTITUTION:When a release button is depressed slightly one step, a switch S1 is turned on F-1, the first range-finding by a range-finding system is performed F-2, a range data d1 is obtained as the object range. Thereafter, 100msec delay time is set F-3, the ranging data d2 is obtained by performing the second range-finding F-4. In a controller, the moving speed of the object V is calculated from the first range data d1 and the second range data d2 F-5. Further, in the controller, whether a directional flag is 1 or 0 is judged F-11, when 1 flags, the third range data d3 is compared with the second range data d2 F-12. Then, by using a lens drive predicting table stored in the controller, the number of a stepped gear tooth driving the photographic lens for focusing is found and the controlling to focus is performed. |
