<p>The present invention relates to a chip cover for a machine tool which comprises: a support plate where one end is connected to flexible members installed on one side of the machine tool; a one side fixated member of which is fitted into on side of an upper part of the support plate; a one end cover plate portion of which is rotatably coupled to the upper part of the support plate; and an elastic member coupled to one side of the fixated member, where one end is supported by one side of the fixated member, and the other end supported by one side of the upper part of the cover plate to provide elasticity downwards to the cover plate. According to the present invention, the chip cover can easily be made by installing a support rod on one side of the fixated member fitted into one side of the upper part of the support plate, and subsequently installing the cover plate and the fixated member on the support rod such that one end of the fixated member can be supported by one side of the fixated member, thereby significantly improving productivity. Also, damage or a breakdown of the flexible member caused by the elastic member can be prevented beforehand, and the flexible member can easily be repaired.</p> |
