The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing artificial marbles and an artificial marble manufactured thereby and, more specifically, to a method for manufacturing artificial marbles capable of manufacturing the artificial marbles in short time and to an artificial marble manufactured thereby. The method for manufacturing the artificial marbles comprises the steps of: (a) thickening slurry formed by mulling artificial marble compositions and extracting the same from an extruder in a kneading state; (b) removing foreign materials by passing the slurry in the kneading state through a strainer; (c) passing the slurry in the kneading state, in which foreign material is removed, through a calender roller in order to primarily remove bubbles and molding the same with even thickness; (d) compressing the slurry in the kneading state, which is passed through the calender roller, using a roller in order to secondarily remove bubbles and molding a semi-product with even thickness; and (e) passing the semi-product to harden and manufacturing an artificial marble board. |
