<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of estimating the strength of a formed coke obtained by forming steam coal and carbonizing the formed steam coal. <P>SOLUTION: In the estimation of the strength of the formed coke obtained by forming and carbonizing a steam coal having≤5% total expansion rate measured by JIS M 8801 expansibility test method, on the basis of a relationship between a specific volume obtained by preliminarily measuring that of a plurality of kinds of steam coal and the strength of the formed coke obtained from each of the steam coal, the strength of the coke of the formed coke obtained by using the steam coal is estimated using the specific volume of the steam coal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
