The present specification relates to a touch control apparatus for a touchscreen panel, which is capable of increasing the touch sensing rate of the touchscreen panel and avoiding the noise component inputted to the touchscreen panel, and to a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present specification, a touch control apparatus for a touchscreen panel may include a driving unit, which generates a clock frequency having an overdriving pulse and applies the generated clock frequency to a TX line of the touchscreen panel.
