<p>A point-of-sale (POS) system 10 comprises attachment means 22 (for example a strap or clip) for attaching the said system in a substantially fixed position on and relative to the arm of a user. In one embodiment the system comprises a holder 14 with attachment means for attaching a POS device 12 to the arm of a user. The holder may be substantially waterproof and have a window 32 through which a touch sensitive screen 34 of the POS may be operated. The holder may further comprise an auxiliary battery (36, Fig 3) for the POS device, a wireless communication means (38, Fig 3) for wireless communication with a remote POS terminal or computer system and/or an electrical connector (40, Fig 3) for electrically connecting the holder to the said POS device to allow transmission of power and/or data there between.</p> |
