<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise information providing terminal capable of efficiently suppressing power consumption to provide merchandise information on merchandise in a shop in real time by utilizing an AR technology. <P>SOLUTION: The merchandise information providing terminal includes: an imaging means for picking up a real space; a merchandise information acquisition part which acquires the merchandise information regarding the merchandise included in a picked-up image picked up by the imaging means; an image generation part which generates an extended real image for superposing the merchandise information acquired by the merchandise information acquisition part on the real space to be displayed based on a position of the merchandise included in the picked-up image picked up by the imaging means; a display part which can display the extended real image generated by the image generation part; an acceleration detection means for detecting acceleration; an operating state determination part which determines an operating state of a user based on acceleration information to be detected by the acceleration detection means; and an operation control part which activates the imaging means and stops an operation of the imaging means based on the operating state determined by the operating state determination part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
