<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing adhesion of a foreign matter to a charging wire (charger). <P>SOLUTION: A drum unit 17 is supported from both sides of a rotation axis direction of a photosensitive drum 5 by a pair of side plates 20 and 21. Air flowing toward a photoreceptor from a scorotron type charger 6 hits on the photosensitive drum 5 and is divided in two directions of a rotation direction upstream side of the photosensitive drum 5 and a rotation direction downstream side of the photosensitive drum 5. The air flowing to the rotation direction downstream side of the photosensitive drum 5 is discharged from between the right side plate 21 and the left side plate 20 via a first exhaust hole 44 of the right side plate 21. The air flowing toward the rotation direction upstream side of the photosensitive drum 5 is discharged from between the left side plate 20 and the right side plate 21 via a second exhaust hole 45 of the right side plate 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
