The present invention suggests a washing machine provided with a balancer for adjusting an unbalanced load generated while rotating a drum. In the washing machine provided with the balancer for adjusting the unbalanced load generated while rotating the drum, performed is a ball distribution cycle disposing a mass body inside the balancer into a groove before a rotation of the drum such as a dehydration cycle, which is more likely to generate imbalance, is started, thus efficiently maintaining the balance of the drum. Also, performed is a laundry disengaging cycle making the distribution of the laundry in the drum uniform, thereby reducing a vibration and a noise in the dehydration cycle. Also, the ball distribution cycle is restricted on the basis of the number of motor rotations in the moment of sensing imbalance in operating a dehydration retry, thereby preventing a cycle time delay caused by the dehydration retry. |
