<p>Disclosed is an airbag apparatus capable of protecting passengers comprising: a cushion which has vent holes for discharging injected gas on both sides; vent tethers positioned in the cushion, having front ends connected to the front of the cushion, and having rear ends extended to the vent holes; and vent screens extended from the vent tethers, connected to the rear of the vent holes, having areas able to cover the vent holes, maintained to be folded, covering and closing the vent holes by being unfolded forward when pulled by the vent tethers when the cushion inflates, and allowing the vent holes to be opened by the gas discharged by reduction in the tension of the vent tethers when the inflated cushion is pressed by a passenger.</p> |
