A power connector suitable for retaining a plurality of electrical cables comprises a body (2, Fig 9), a retaining member 3, and at least three connecting members (11-14, Fig 2) for connecting the retaining member to the body, such that a cable can be passed between the body, the retaining member and two of the connecting members and retained there, in use, by the pressure of the retaining member. The first and second connecting members form a first line, and the second and third connecting members form a second line, such that the first line is not parallel to the second line. Thus a cable can enter through ports facing in different directions which can be tightened independently. The retaining member may have a cantilever arm 31, and be hinged so that tightening ports 29, 30 bends it along hinge A but tightening port 28 bends it along hinge B. |
