According to an embodiment of the present invention, an aboveground liquid storage tank comprises: an independent inner tank which includes a space for storing a material; an outer tank which forms a side wall by installing a first outer tank wall in at least one among the front, back, left, and right of the independent inner tank, and forms the roof or the floor by installing a second outer tank wall in the upper part or the lower part of the independent inner tank. The first outer tank wall is a PSC structure, and comprises: multiple first reinforcing bars which are inserted into a first concrete layer; and a device which regulates compression/tension strength of the first concrete layer. The second outer tank wall is an SC structure or an SC_LWC structure, and comprises: a first steel layer; a second steel layer; and a second concrete layer which is included between the first and second steel layers. The aboveground liquid storage tank can reduce installation man-hours, manpower, costs by modularizing the outer tank wall for construction without the need to install and disassemble an additional mold, can be easily installed in polar regions, can shorten a construction period, can improve reliability thereof by selectively applying outer tank walls with different structures to each of the parts thereof with a different pressure of a stored material, can be divisionally manufactured and be mounted, can reduce manufacturing costs thereof, and can extend life thereof by including a stiffener for reinforcing the tensile strength of concrete in order to reinforce not only compression strength but also tensile strength.
