1. A compound of Formula (I): wherein: X is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, OR2, SR2, and NRz; Z is selected from the group consisting of O, S, CR3 and NR4; Y is selected from the group consisting of oxygen, sulfur, CR3, NR4, —N(R5)CO—, —CH2N(R5)—, —CH2N(R5)CO—, CO2, SO2, —CH2O—, —CH2S—, CO, —CON(R5)—, —SO2N(R5)—, —O(CH2)n—, —S(CH2)n—, —N(CH2)n—, —(CH2)n—, NR5, and an optionally substituted alkyl, alkene, alkyne, or heterocycle; R2 is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, CORx, CONRx, hydrocarbyl, and substituted hydrocarbyl; R3, R4, R5 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, hydrocarbyl, and substituted hydrocarbyl; Rz is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen hydrocarbyl, substituted hydrocarbyl, —CORx, —CONRxRxSO2Rx, and —CO2Rx; Rx is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, NR4R5, and an optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, heterocycle, or aryl; n is an integer from 1 to 10; and R1 is Formula (IV): wherein: A is independently selected from the group consisting of CR6 and N; R6 is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, hydrocarbyl, and substituted hydrocarbyl; R11 and R12 are independently selected from the group consisting of OR15, —NR15R16, —NR15COR16, —NR15CO2R16, —NR15CONR16, —NR15SO2R16, —COR15, —SO2R16, nitro, cyano, halogen, aryl, heterocycle, —COOR15, —CONR16R17, —SO2NR18R19, alkenyl, alkynyl, hydrocarbyl, and substituted hydrocarbyl; R15, R16, R17, R18, R19 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, hydrocarbyl, substituted hydrocarbyl, aryl, and heterocycle, and R16 and R17 together can optionally form a ring, and R18 and R19 together can optionally form a ring; and (a) of R11 is the integer 1 and (a) of R12 is either the integer 1 or the integer 2. |
