<p>The present invention relates to a flexible display device capable of controlling the size of an image display area easily and increasing and maximizing a commercial value by increasing portability. The flexible display device comprises; a fixing body which fixates a predetermined area of a flexible panel; and the flexible panel which is partially fixated on the fixing body. The residual portion of the flexible panel which is not fixated is feely bent. The flexible display device comprises; a protection cover which winds up the residual portion of the flexible panel by using a roller which is assembled in the inner side to be able to rotate or change the direction of the residual portion of the flexible panel to receive and protect the residual portion; and an operation power conversion device which is assembled and applied to connect the fixing body and the protection cover and rotates the roller by mechanically converting operation power added to the protection cover by a user for unfolding of the flexible display device. The operation power conversion device converts perturbation movement of the protection cover into rotational force by using a screw principle inversely. For this, a rotary conversion screw wherein a screw is formed on a central penetration portion can be applied. A rotary screw which is screw-combined to the rotary conversion screw to be able to rotate and is assembled and applied can be applied. A gear 1 is formed on the end of the rotary screw.</p> |
