PURPOSE:To obtain a sense of sufficient sound volume and natural reproduced sounds by reproducing in-phase signals from plural low-pitched sound reproducing speakers arranged at equal intervals from a listening position. CONSTITUTION:High-pitched and middle-pitched sound reproducing speakers 1 and 2 are arranged apart from a listening position B. Meanwhile, plural low- pitched sound reproducing speakers 3 to 6 are arranged at short distances and at equal intervals from the position B. When an input signal is delayed as prescribed and in-phase signals are reproduced by speakers 3 to 6, the acoustic pressure is increased four times in the position B. Consequently, a sense of sufficient sound volume and reproduced sounds of a natural acoustic field are obtained in the listening position, and further, sounds transmitted as noise to positions other than the listening position are considerably reduced. |
