PURPOSE: To economize a motion corrected image signal interpolating device. CONSTITUTION: In this motion correction image signal interpolating device having a field memory FM2 for delaying an input field sequence, a motion vector evaluator ME for supplying a motion vector and a motion correction interpolator MC coupled to the input and output of field memory FM2 for supplying series of motion correction output field sequences based on the motion vector, the input of motion vector evaluator ME is coupled to the input and output of field memory FM2 and the motion vector is evaluated while using the same single field memory FM2 as a type to be used for motion corrected interpolation.
