PURPOSE:To call a desired portable telephone set just with a series of key operations required for calling an extension regardless of the presence or absence of the relevant telephone set in a calling area in regard of a radio telephone system which can be applied to another radio telephone system to which a portable telephone set controlled by itself is connected via a communication circuit. CONSTITUTION:A ROM 21 stores the extension and outside line numbers opposite to each other for the portable telephone sets. If the portable telephone set that is called and designated through an extension with operation of keys of a key input part 22 is not included in a calling area, the DTMF code corresponding to the extension call number stored in the ROM 21 is outputted to a voice CODEC part 16 from a DTMF code memory 25. Thus the DTMF signal corresponding to an outside line call number is outputted from a circuit interface part 11 and the relevant telephone set is called in another radio telephone system.
