The present invention relates to a water storage apparatus which can activate water stored inside the water storage apparatus to prevent pollution or decomposition, thereby supplying service water of a clean state. The water storage apparatus comprises: a water storage body of a cylindrical form which is disposed on an upper part of a base and of which the top is joined with a cover; an inlet formed in the cover to clean and maintain the inside of the water storage body; a ladder mounted to go into the water storage body through the inlet; a vent pipe mounted to circulate air with the inside of the water storage body; a water supply pipe mounted to supply service water which will be stored in the water storage body; an outflow pipe mounted to send the service water stored in the water storage body to a place used; an overflow pipe for preventing water from being stored more than the amount that is set to the water storage body; and a cleaning pipe mounted to discharge foreign matters formed after cleaning the inside of the water storage body, and further comprises: foreign matter removing means for removing foreign matters contained in the service water filling the inside of the water storage body; and activating means for making the service water supplied to the water storage body maintain an activated state continuously.
