<p>A box comprises a bottom (12) and at least two pairs of side walls (14a, 14b, 16a, 16b) which in each case lie opposite one another, wherein a first one of the side walls (16b) extends upwards at least partially from the bottom (12) in a vertical direction only by a removal height (20) which is smaller than the height of one or more of the remaining side walls (14a, 14b, 16a), in order to define a lateral opening with a dimension which makes access to and removal of products contained in the box possible through the lateral opening.
