APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTINUOUS SOLID STATE POLYMERIZATION

A continuous solid state polymerization apparatus comprises: a feeder sequentially putting a prepolymer; a horizontal type reactor connected to the feeder through a first connection unit, performing solid state polymerization by receiving the prepolymer from the feeder, and being rotated by itself; and a chamber connected to the horizontal type reactor through a second connection unit, and accommodating and discharging the polymer in which solid state polymerization is completed and which is discharged from the horizontal type reactor, wherein a release coating film is formed on an inner wall of the horizontal type reactor, and the feeder, the horizontal type reactor, and the chamber are in vacuum. The continuous solid state polymerization apparatus prevents the prepolymer from forming a stagnant section and can continuously perform solid sate polymerization in a vacuum state.
